Social Media, Brand Strategy, and Everything in Between

Hey! My name is Raina Hines and I’m a 23-year-old creative marketer. In the Spring of 2022, I graduated from the College of Business Administration at Loyola Marymount University with a B.S. in Marketing. 

 

I consider myself a visual communicator with a passion for forming and building a standout brand voice. I love the challenge that marketing provides in determining how to integrate a successful content strategy within the intersections of culture, art, and community. 

 

My academic career in Marketing involved a number of real-world applicable projects, which included numerous market research studies, as well as full marketing campaigns which were presented to actual clients such as Providence Healthcare and The Michael Strahan Brand.

I was also able to further my skills in brand strategy/development through a wide range of internship positions. When it comes to marketing internships, I’ve experienced almost every type of work environment out there; from a woman-owned PR firm, to a bustling agency, and most recently an amazing silicon beach startup.

 

In each position, I gained invaluable hands-on experience. I’ve created original social media content and planned detailed consent calendars, and have created unique marketing material for digital advertisements and in-person events. Throughout each varying position however, one learning theme remained: how to develop and tell a brand’s story.
